PERFECTION IS INHUMAN

In my earlier article, I got 50% Good, 30% Bad & 20% Ugly comments. “Does that prove perfection?” Obviously not! Perfection is inhuman; it shouldn’t determine our way of life, as we are entitled to have flaws.
Perfection doesn’t just go with writing alone, it has to do with everything in life. Perfection is inhuman. So, when the imperfection of humans peeks through, they shouldn’t be isolated nor rejected, remember there are only being humans.

Like Leonard Cohen will say “There’s a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets in.” Every crack deserves a repair; every human deserves a second chance. Imperfection is a way of life that guarantees one to really push on to fix it – that’s what drives humans to achieve their goal.

Imperfection breeds mistakes! Yeah, mistakes we all make but often hold them back for fear of screwing up or taking negative steps forward even before taking action. All these shows we are human, as we choose to hide behind our fears/mistakes - not directing our goals in the direction we want, now that calls for trouble.


And here is the thing about fear of being imperfect; when you go through life being extremely careful of making mistakes, scared of being yourself, thinking no one will like you, everyone will see I am imperfect – then you are definitely aligning yourself with failure! 



Lately, I’ve been dealing with different assignments, stuffs I know nothing about, and matters I just have to solve one way or the other. Along the line, I’ve got several “setbacks” which shows i am human but most people actually term me as being dull and less smart.

Does it really bother me? No it doesn’t cause I’ve come to realize that showing others how perfect you could be will definitely lead to your downfall one way or the other.


I got inspired to write this article as a result of my earlier downfall of wanting to prove to others how perfect I am, instead of letting them know how human I am.


However, there’s something I also figured out about painting. It starts awful and ends up being perfect, which still intrigues me. Well, I watched a family friend’s video of how he paints, though I’ve seen several rough-edged paintings and I kept wondering how he did it.  He paints imperfectly!


The way he does it makes it look like the ending part might be disastrous. He kept on splashing the paint on the board roughly and aimlessly, giving it a weird look at first.

But what’s so special about this painting? Oh well, it wasn’t just fun to watch him paint, it symbolizes a crucial lesson about painting, this I realized.
I also noticed he abandoned his perfect state and painted being human!  
Abandoning the desire for perfection entirely shouldn’t be criticized though.

We discover the truth early in life that life is not perfect. The longer we live, the more we see it come true. So obviously, the imperfections surround us in nearly every direction.



In conclusion, the world we live in is far from perfect, the people around us are far from perfect, we are far from perfect as well. So, quit chasing happiness in perfection, relate with one another in our weaknesses and enjoy the Perfection of Imperfection. 

Although, there’s this expression that goes thus “Make a mistake once and it’s a move on, make it a second time & you weren’t paying attention but make the same mistake the third time, it’s a shame on you for silly repetition of something not obviously working.”

Be smart enough to know the difference between being silly & being human!

              TEAMWORK is a means of coming together to actually solve the Good, Bad and Ugly of a situation and turning it into perfection. Achieving the right and patching up a situation accurately in a TEAM can be mysteriously difficult that it will take some time until we realize it might have been as simple as “a secondary school student being told to recite A-Z.” But for the time being, it remains ousted from few organizations due to their oblivious state.
